About the school

Nootan Public School stands in Dharhara, Vaishali district, Bihar. It is a day school: children attend for the working day and return home. There is no hostel on this campus.

The school offers a continuous path from Seedling through Class 8. Early years — Seedling, Sapling, and Advanced Sapling — introduce letters, numbers, language, and classroom habit. Classes 1 to 8 follow a fuller timetable: languages, mathematics, environmental or science studies, and computer from Advanced Sapling onward. Lessons are in Hindi and English; office circulars may be in either language.

Education here forms character as well as skill — attendance, courtesy, finished work, and fairness toward classmates. The school draws inspiration from Swami Vivekananda on education and self-reliance. NPS is an independent campus in Dharhara, not a branch of Ramakrishna Mission; the quotations on this site are a public homage.

These pages are for guardians: classes, campus life, admission enquiries, office circulars, and results. For a record that is not on the public lookup, write to the office.

Campus and school day

Teaching takes place in classrooms on the Dharhara campus, with open ground for play. Computer is on the timetable from Advanced Sapling. Art sits beside books in the younger classes; from Class 6, science, social studies, and Sanskrit join the list.

A typical day begins with assembly, then lessons, then time outdoors. Sport is part of education — fitness, fair play, and showing up. For a specific facility for your child, write to the office.
