Our Legacy & Vision

Who we are

Nootan Public School (NPS) is a day school in Dharhara, Vaishali district, Bihar. In Hindi the school is known as नूतन पब्लिक स्कूल, धरहरा.

We offer a single path from Seedling through Class 8. Early childhood, primary, and the first years of middle school sit on one campus, so a child can grow through stages without changing institution. Lessons use Hindi and English. Circulars may be in either language.

Aim of the school

The daily work is attendance, classwork, homework a child can finish, and a calm assembly. We want children who can read, count, speak, and stand on their own feet. Honesty, courtesy, and effort are treated as part of education.

The home page quotes Swami Vivekananda because those lines speak to education as the drawing-out of what is already in the child. They are an inspiration. This campus is Nootan Public School, Dharhara — not a branch of Ramakrishna Mission.
